Temperature Converter
Features
- Cursor is in the Temperature field when the page loads.
- After each result, the value in the Temperature field is selected.
This allows you to type the next value without having to move there and
delete the previous entry.
- Results do not appear to be within a form field (in recent browsers).
- In the result, when the temperature on either side of the equation
is 1 or -1, it is written as the singular “1 degree.”
- Result on right side of equation is rounded to a maximum of two decimal
places.
- Three different informative error messages for these cases:
- Entering nothing
- Entering non-numeric characters
- Ending an entry with C or F — for example
“32 f” or “100C”
(some users may initially do this because instructions are not provided)
